Attended a wedding reception at Gardens on Forest and had a wonderful experience. The outdoor garden area is beautifully maintained with tall palm trees, neat hedges, and a stunning white fountain that lights up at night, making it perfect for photography and videography. The setting feels peaceful and romantic, ideal for capturing special moments. Inside, the reception hall is spacious and elegant, with chandeliers, gold chairs, and well-set tables that give a classy yet welcoming vibe. The stage and dance floor were perfectly set up, and everything ran smoothly thanks to the friendly and professional staff. There’s also plenty of street parking available behind the venue, which made it very convenient for guests. It’s a fantastic choice for weddings and special events.

We had a job today at the Gardens and Aida and Leah were absolutely welcoming. I honestly couldn’t remember the last time anyone has excelled above and beyond at customer service. Also amazing venue, very neat and well looked after. Highly recommend for any event

We can’t express how grateful we are to Gardens on Forest for holding our wedding reception!Leah was an absolute pleasure to work with; in addition to being incredibly organised and attentive, she was so flexible and accommodating with many last-minute changes we had to make. The food was absolutely delicious and the venue itself is beyond beautiful. Highly recommend this venue for anyone considering where to host their wedding reception or any event in general! We were absolutely bowled over by it. So grateful to Leah and the rest of the team for making our night so magical!

Wow wow wow , yesterday we had a my nieces Hens night at Gardens on Forest and it was absolutely amazing !!The service was spot on , the venue was gorgeous and the welcoming vibe we were met with was unforgettable. Thankyou so much to the Team at Gardens on Forest . We will definitely be back for another family function in the future .

I had my daughters hens night at Gardens on Forest and I am lost for words! Not only was the room STUNNING, but from the food to the drinks to the absolutely AMAZING staff we could not fault one thing. The communication was outstanding. The organisation was perfection. Leah catered to all our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Many modifications had to be made, due to our special needs, and Leah did not hesitate. The staff on the night were so friendly and accomodating. Every guest commented on how fantastic everything was, especially the staff. I will not hesitate to recommend Gardens on Forest to anyone, and I definitely will be back for our next occasion.

We chose Gardens on Forest as our Ceremony venue and were blown away. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an intimate / small family and friends ceremony.Our Wedding was short notice and despite this, we were provided with excellent service, a timely tour of the venue prior to the day and accommodated in the smoothest of ways.This was special for us in so many ways and we were assured this would not change due to our short notice.They offered multiple forms of communication according to our preferences which made any questions or concerns that arose prior to the day, resolved and answered quickly.I personally prefer text messages and phone call, which they had no problem in sending updates and images, so I could plan and get an idea of the day in advance. Although, my partner prefers email so that’s where we also got great & prompt communication.Time management on the day was professional.Leah had liaised with our Celebrant (we hired externally), they had coordinated on the music and were also well communicated between each other on the day. As well as when organising guests upon arrival to the venue and overall during the event. It all went so smoothly.What impressed me especially, was when i ran late to my ceremony, I was still met with smiling faces, given a quick run through on how timing would go and they gave me a calming sense, telling me not to rush as I got ready. Which really helped when the wedding nerves were kicking in.Thank you for Gardens on Forest team, for being such a delight in the entire process, for Leah orchestrating this day so perfectly for us and for going above and beyond in service.

I can’t express the superb quality service we were provided by the hostess Leah from the Gardens on Forest of the whole two storey beautiful establishment with multiple function rooms on offer to suit your events, absolutely gorgeous and will provide whatever you require (within their means) to make your event and guests have a memorable day with a great experience.-If you are looking for an establishment to celebrate your-Wedding?Corporate party?Baptism celebration?Mitzvah?High Tea?Baby Shower?Moroccan decor event?Birthdays?Well this is it!!! There’s a beautiful huge water fountain ⛲️ at the entrance with side manicured flawless gardens with nice angel monuments situated around the gardens. You could have your wedding here also; as attached are photos of a long aisle amongst the greenery garden where you could have that perfect small wedding along with a garden bar located on the side for the guests! Leah and staff will assist you with all your ideas and make your day memorable you won’t be disappointed!I am recommending Gardens on Forest and this establishment 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ plus!

I organised a high tea four my friend this afternoon who was celebrating her 80th birthday. There was 13 of us and we all enjoyed it immensely. The food was great and the amount was very generous. The staff were so lovely and bent over backwards to serve you and be there to help in any way. Leah who i spoke to and organised with was so helpful and wonderful to speak to and nothing was a trouble. I could highly recommend this high tea and have a great day like we did. Patrice

Went here for a high tea, the food seemed like it was prepared early and kept in the fridge, they were not fresh nor stale, they were tasty though.Not many people there, if we hadn’t won the high tea as a prize, we wouldn’t have been there either.The staff were very friendly, very attentive, maybe too attentive, so much so they seemed to be interrupting our chat all the time.Wonderful ladies though but I guess, when you’ve got no customers, you try and look after the ones you’ve got.

Came here for high tea, it was very impressive. Nice atmosphere with a stunning vibe and decor. Me and mum love it. Service was so professional. They offered my mum a mocktail instead a cocktail as she doesn’t drink alcohol.

Leah was crucial in making our wedding the magical experience that it was. We had an outdoor ceremony and Leah was ready with a Plan B in case it rained (luckily it didn’t!). The whole team was ready to work with our vendors and celebrant directly on the day, taking a lot of pressure off of our shoulders on such an important day. I cannot thank the team enough for helping us achieve such a beautiful ceremony.

Did a wedding photography here. One of the best wedding venue where you can have it all from preparation, ceremony, and reception. staff are friendly to photographers as well. Lots of places for a location shoot for post-wedding photograph. Highly recommended!

Lovely house and grounds. Public High Tea was very good value- scones a particular highlight. Able to cater to gluten free- ask questions if coeliac. Parking was on the street, but not timed on the weekend. Great for a group and kids can play in the garden.

High Tea is expensive and pretentious. Was really grossed out when a dog was allowed to walk around whilst we were “trying” to enjoy the high tea. The only saving grace was the lovely staff.

Booked a Baby shower here for January and we were all looking forward to it. However due to outbreak we decided to cancel event to be safe. The venue was very understanding and even offered to refund our deposit. At first I thought this was very generous of them as my communication with Sonia was relatively quick. Waited for my deposit to be refunded for a week but nothing. Tired to contact 2 weeks later thinking they must be busy won’t over think this but still no response, emailed again, no response.. Tired to contact again 3-4 weeks later still no response. It’s March now and still don’t have a refund back and no one from the venue has bothered to contact me.

Exceptional destination for small/ medium functions. Was there for a birthday, food was delicious and had a good variety of canapes. Staff were friendly, curteousa and professional. They also offer high tea. A fair bit of parking on the street. No parking on premises. Nice small garden area with fountains perfect for memorable pics.

The absolute worst service and to top it off, the staff was extremely racist and ignorant. Clearly they’ve never experienced an ethnic wedding so they thought they could treat our guests like dirt. People were not allowed to ask for drinks because the waiters had “better things to do”, staff showed attitude to the family of the bride and the groom and were just downright unpleasant to deal with.DO NOT book Gardens on Forest.

Took a friend here for high tea. The house is lovely as are the gardens. For me the high tea was a disappointment. The scones were as hard as a rock to break into and the rest of the offerings were pretty average. I guess that this is reflected in the price of $45 which makes it one of the cheapest high teas I’ve had. The service was efficient and came with a smile – very welcoming.

A beautiful journey, a trip down wonderland and yesteryear era! Stunning, furniture/fittings and lighting fixtures. The gardens are just delightful, well cared for and maintained. The statues are just amazing and some unique, making a walk around the gardens, that bit more special.The staff are very attentive, highly professional, engaging and respectful. Overall, food great, excluding a couple spreads that were not our ‘cup of tea’, yes a joke, a bad one at that LOL . To top off our day, was hearing about the owner of the home/business and her actions of giving back to the community

The price per person they charge is astronomical, the rooms itself haven’t been very well maintained or cleaned. Furniture seems to be very mismatched and there is no onsite parking for guests.

Extremely disappointed with the High Tea on Saturday 27 March. Sandwiches were nice but dry on the outside and cut unevenly. Quiches and other hot pastries were cold on the inside, dessert plate was below average packet desserts. I feel ripped off. Tea cup was also dirty.I’ve given 2 stars for the customer service and the ambience.

Lovely big old style room…think Louis XVI,sandwiches were delicious as were the sweets, only disappointment were the savouries…tasted shop bought and apart from chicken skewer didn’t rate the rest of the savouries. Service however, was excellent.

I’m not normally one to post reviews, but I couldn’t resist with this absolutely stunning venue. My husband & I treated my parents to some delicious high tea earlier today & what an absolute treat it was. Impeccable service & delicious food, all catered to our dietary requirements flawlessly. I only wish I could give even more stars! Truly one of my favourite spots for high tea from among the many I’ve tried. 💖

We had our wedding at Gardens on Forest on Saturday 20th July 2019 and it was the BEST DAY EVER!From the moment we saw the venue we knew it was perfect for us – beautiful gardens out the front and Victorian/classic rooms inside. Our guests had such a great time and we received so many compliments about the venue, food and service.Thank you so much Teresa and Shannon – you made the whole planning process so easy and everything went so smoothly. Also thank you Joanna, Lee and staff for taking care of us on the day and always checking if we needed anything throughout the night.Would highly recommend!
